We didn't start Granola Crew because we wanted to start a business. We started it because we couldn't find a moisturizer that worked for our family. We live in Maumee — a small city just outside Toledo in northwest Ohio — and the people here work with their hands. Farmers, tradespeople, parents. Skin that takes a beating.
Everything we sell is made here, by us, in small batches. That's not a marketing angle. It's just how we've always done it, and we don't plan to change.

Tallow is rendered beef fat — specifically from grass-fed, pasture-raised cattle. It's been used on skin for centuries, and for good reason. The fatty acid profile of beef tallow closely mirrors the natural sebum your skin already produces, which means it absorbs well and works with your skin rather than sitting on top of it.
